Carrot Halwa


Ingredients
Carrots 500 gms.
Milk 750 ml.
Ghee 2 tbsps.
Sugar 200 gms.
Almonds 15-20.
Green cardamom powder 1 tsp

Method:
                                            
Peel, wash and then grate carrots. Heat Ghee in a thick bottomed pan. Add grated carrots, cook on a medium flame for 8-10 minutes until carrots are soft. Add milk and green cardamom powder. Bring it to a boil and then reduce flame. Cook on a slow flame until milk is almost reduced. Add sugar, and cook until dry. Stir constantly.
Garnish with sliced almonds
